I am looking for a couple of random pieces for my 4runner and a tacoma I am getting ready to sell... does anyone know of a junkyard within about 2-3 hours of here that might have Toyotas? If not, anyone have any luck buying used odds and ends from anywhere on the web?
Without turning this thread into a "want to buy" thread in the tech category, the parts I am specifically looking for are an airbag sensor and a transfer case shifter for the tacoma and a glove box for the 4runner.
Thanks!
Billy

I think there are a couple in/near Dumfries/Dale City near the intersection of 234 and Rt. 1. I think one might be called Skip's??

Damn computers. It's probably my fault somehow but it's easier on my fragile ego to blame the damn computer.
Anyway, the airbag sensor I am looking for is the one that attaches to the inside of the driver's side fender, right below the battery. Mine is corroded with battery cremungeon and I think it's making my airbag light flash.
If you have it, shoot me an e-mail to abapope at hotmail.com with your location and a price and we'll go from there.
Thanks a million!

After talking to a couple of people it looks like 99+ tacomas have the sensors on the inside of the fenders. The others have a single control unit in the dash.
So... still on the hunt for an airbag sensor to keep the annoying dash light from blinking at me.
