The problem that i found with yukon is that they outsource there gears to lots of places. So not sure who made tham. Sometimes US Gear,Strange eng. or some chinese place. You never know. They can't tell you either.
I went with Percisions from Rieder Racing. There very nice gears and make a true v6 gear. They have a very good reputation with off-roaders.

The place that was recommended to me to put in the gears only deals with Yukon and will install other gears if you bring them but will not warranty the work and basically won't deal with any problems that arise if it's not from their Yukon dealer.
Boheefus..where did you get your gears put in?
Also, I heard that new gears have to be broken in a certian way for the first 500 miles or so...or it can mess them up

I run Yukons, awesome so far, as far as break in run them right after install at various speeds not to exceed 55mph for 15 to 20 miles and then let it sit til they COMPLETLEY COOL, usually over night. Thats about it, then for the next 500 miles do not tow anything or abuse, just normal driving then at 500 miles drop the diff oil clean the metal shavings off the drain plug(magnetic) and u are good to go. Then you can terrorize them.
