Yep, 4 Wheel Parts sucks ass, and has been sued many times for ripping people off.
I have bought wheels and/or tires from www.summitracing.com and www.ntwonline.com. Both have good prices. You can compare them and see if they're better than tirepackage.com

Steel bends back. So if you wheel it hard its nice to have. Your really not saving that much weight.
I was a big advocate for steel wheels until recenly. I borrowed a set of aluminum wheels and the performance difference is very noticable. I have gained 2 MPG, can take hills on the highway faster, and when I "Blip" thee throttle off road the tires rotate quicker. This was going from 37" IROK's on 17X8" steel rims to 37" MTR's on 15X10 aluminum rims. my tires are currently 13 pounds lighter each and the little weight savings in rotating mass does make a difference.
I just purchased a set of 15X10 aluminums since I have to give my borrowed set back to the original owner.

Hey Kajo think rolling resistance might be playing a part there? Bias Irok vs a Radial MTR. I'd think the MTR will have much less rolling resistance.

I thought that 15" would work fine clearing the brakes until the newer ones came out. Well the 01-04? had certain fitment issues..some 15" would work and some wouldnt. But pre-01...i didnt think it mattered

Well thats not what iv been hearing...the only 15" that will fit would be the ones from wheels or bigger, and some 15" on that list we have.... plus I think 15-16 I don't think it would look that much different... I just want a wider tire, and it to look nice since its my DD... + the weight difference between the steel rim and the Alloy is 13Lbs each.. so thats an extra 52Lbs....I not an expert and like I said im trying to save some gas money!!! so what should i do guys, im too damm indecisive....HELP!

What tires are they that 4Wheel Parts doesn't have them in stock? I would cancel the order and buy somewhere else or get a different tire. :smt102
Last two times I ordered tires/wheels from places I got them within a week. www.ntwonline.com the first time and www.summitracing.com the second time.
Summit racing does ship very fast.
