Alright fellas, here's Steve's (LittleToy) Taco in current form. He's running 31 boggers, 3" susp. and ARB rear. It's time for an upgrade, so we were discussing options

1: add a 3" body and go with 33x13.50 rockers. :smt003

2: Eric builds up that D44 he's got and gives it to him, then Beater can weld it up for free. :smt023

3: Drop it 6" and roll 24's with 265/30r-24's :smt025

4: Hack the shit out of the fenders and run 35s.

I like option 4. It seems he likes wide tires, but with a slight hack job he could fit some Q78-15 Swamper TSLs (35x11) and it would kick ass.

Guess this is gonna be a cheap upgrade.

While I got the sawzaw out hacking the fenders might as well stop by Ace's and "BORROW" a few things. The sliders and leafs off his taco would be a good start.

Ace, since you don't wheel you won't miss the 35 M/T's. I'll grab those too. Don't worry, you can have my bald ass boggers. 31's should be all you need. :flipoff2:

Anything but 2!!! :flipoff2:

We'll be up there Sunday to pick it up. Make sure she's got a working ARB installed with 4.88's.

Thanks!
:smt118
P.S. don't forget the 44044's

This coming from the guy that wheels once, then buys a new rig...

How many times you wheel "Whitey" after that SAS? You Wheeled Paul old Taco how many times? How many miles the Sequoia got on it?

The 97 is my wheeler. Had her out on 8 runs last summer. :smt118

Bought Paul's truck as my huntin and fishin truck. Don't think I wanna throw a gutted deer in the runner. No sense in tearing up 2 rigs on the trails. :smt102

The Sequoia is our road trip mobile. 9,500 miles in 2.5 years. :sissy:

Whitey, well that's a different story. You need to talk to the new owner (Billy) about that one.

Rims are 15x10. No rubbing issues. Had a set of Swamper SSR's prior to the boggers. No rubbing with those either. I have a 1/4 backspace plate on the front. Without that they may rub alittle.

Damm that sux! I really wanted to run 10" rims... But its ok I ended up buying the Wheelers black alloy 16x8 rims, with a set of 31x12.50x16 tires, so it should hopefulyl look good!

That combo should look pretty sweet.

The boggers don't have much life left. Replacements are gonna be 33x13.50. Ace has informed me that they won't rub. We'll see if he's right. If not....... :smt021

Sweet let me know if they rub, I was going to get 16x10 but like i said they said the tire i would run would rub, so you have a front spacer that what pushes the tire out some?

And as soon as i get them mounted and balaned on the truck i will snap some pics.

Yep. Goes behind the wheel. Spaces the wheel out 1/4 inch.

I've had the truck for about a year now. I havn't had any problems. I drive the truck quite a bit. (25K miles in a year)
I can tell you the boggers were a bad purchase when you drive the vehicle that much. :smt089

I had a set of those before the boggers. Great tire. My next set is either another set of SSR's or the Pit Bull Rockers. Havn't made my mind up yet.
