Update: September 1st 2005

As promised, Advance Adapters is ready to release more information on the Atlas 4 speed. The following is the most current information at this time:

Current Status: Project Atlas 4 Speed is still under development, and on schedule. The 1st.-working prototype is planned for release at Off Road Expo in October 2005. Advance Adapters has one unit physically built and it is still under going further modifications and testing.

Physical Dimensions: The first prototype measures 13.75" OAL with a flange yoke. Depending on application, there will be other length units available.

Gear Ratios: The test unit currently boasts an astonishing 10:1 in its lowest range! Other sets of gear ratios are currently under development. There will be 3 different sets of ratios available, with 4 pre-determined ratios per unit. No overdrive will be offered in the 4 speed units.

Shifter Information: Cable operated shifting is being developed and will reach production units. Push button technology is currently being explored, and production units will have either an electric or air shifter option; making for a very "low profile" and clean fit into the newer TJ and custom applications.

Please stay tuned to this website for more information as we get closer to the debut of the Atlas 4Speed at the Off Road Expo 2005.

lol... with that, you don't need the stock t-case. and anything beyond 10.x:1 is stupid low.
