I have a South African friend that sent me these pics of his friend's new Hi Lux. To me the new truck looks like a cross between a Titan and a Murano though it's a Toyota not a Nissan. It has the same 4.0 V6 as our '05 Tacoma. Too much plastic for my taste, but a nice looking truck none the less. Notice the older Toy in the background. They run their trucks to the ground over there from what I understand. Toys are the favorite.
Thought you might like a look at our international brothers. See those tiny tires?

it looks just like the 2006 mitsu raider which is based off of the dodge dakota.
hope toyota isnt teaming up with either one of those companies.....

does the badging say v8? might be nice ..to have a toyv8 in a taco.

yeah I am over here in Bahrain right now and I have seen a couple of these driveing around they look even weirder in person, they arent wide enough.
