So it about a month away, i should have the time off work, and i'm still upset about not getting out wheelin' at all this month. I think this would make up for it. I'm willing to drive my truck down there, but i'd like to have other people along.

it'd never make it down there, let alone be able to run even part of the race

Jason, if you go there for the race. You should hook with some of the SoCal people. Some groups are going to be running the race course before the race, you should try to get hooked up.
I've been invited to prerun the Baja 500 race course next June. Basically you run the course in two days, then watch the race.
I have a choice of the Rubicon in July, or the Baja 500 prerun in June. I'm leaning towards the Baja 500 run.

I know i want long travel sooo bad, but i just can't put out the cash right now, i should have some Coilovers, shocks, and maybe leafs to install soon tho, i'm still torn on the coilovers, but i'm leaning toward the 2.5 'Burgs

You don't need dual shocks. You can use just one shock. You can add the second shock later. I'd love to add a bypass shock to my front.
I'm at work, and listening to the Baja 1000.
1x is in front, followed by 4x.
You can give it a listen at:

The Baja would be a good trip. RJ, and I are hatching a plan.
