Anyone wanting to swap gears but doesnt want to pay 1000+ for install. I have a connection for you. He is in Va Beach. I wont put his info here just contact me if you want to do it. I ordered my own gears dropped my truck off with him and to pull the diffs, breakdown the ifs to get to the front diff, pull gears intall new ones ran me $500. The norm is about $1100 just for installation(due to lockers and ifs) Unless you pull the diffs yourself it runs cheaper and also for the guy who did my gears he would probalbly charge alot less if all he had to do was mess directly with your diffs. It has been a while since he has done mine and they are doing great. He is a mechanic and does the work out of a shop not his backyard. Just throwin info your way.

My Yukon Gears ran $600(thats including front and back master install kits)
Labor: already told you but every shop here and within 300 miles wanted over 1000. cu later

Blacksburg is less than 300 miles away and I got my gears installed up here last year for $300 (install rear gears and swap out diffs in the front since I had one already geared to 5.29). It was gonna be $400 to regear front and rear if I didn't have that diff. Same folks just did a new timing belt/waterpump for me last week for $357 out the door and it was done in 4 hours. 4wd club up here at Tech sends them business and they are kind with their pricing in return.

Sounds good, I was just posting for people who maybe didnt have time to leave the area, The guy who did mine was 10 minutes away. I am very weird and picky about who does certain type of work for me. I want things done right so I talked and talked to my guy and got referances and he knows his stuff.. Thanks for the alternative though-steve
