gauge question

i was wonderin, i have an 83 yota and i am gonna put new gauges in my truck and i was wondering which ones were mechanical and which ones were electric.

Some gauges come in a mechanical AND an electronic versions (usually pressure and temp gauges).
Don't get any mech gauges, they're a PITA to deal with. Elec gauges are much easier to connect.
