I was gonna get a commuter car, but Dewey (Jenn) said that the thought of me driving a car instead of a truck made her sad. So I got this:

Man! I need to find a woman like Dewey!
That's a pretty truck for being 10 years old. Shoot, my D-Cab isn't that pretty at 2 years old.
So is this really going to be a commuter or is it going to get beat up?
Did that Heep money just burn a hole in your pocket this week?
Grats on the nice truck, hope it serves you well!
Kyle
How long tell you put sliders on it?

Yep. She kicks ass.

Dude, it's about 12 years old, and it looks pretty good. It's pretty much bottom of the line, but I don't need anything fancy. It's not getting any mods, dents, or flatbeds for at least 5 years.

Yep. Bought the truck, I'm gonna get a new computer, and I still have enough for crossover steering and gears for the beater. :smt003

BTW, I don't know how you guys wheel your Xtra cabs and D-cabs; these bitches are long.
I've been driving a bobbed short bed regular cab truck, and a Heep Wrangler for the last couple years. Now I have to learn how to back up a rig that's like 2' longer with the wheel base of a school bus.

So it takes skill to get all those dents in your bedsides and doors?
You and I must be the best drivers ever (right behind Turner, of course).

It does take skill to dent your door. I'm going to let you drive my truck sometime at Pargaon. Let you see what long and wide is about.

Can I bet you a six pack on that? I bet you've already been looking at the Sway Away torsion bars. If not, I've got the idea in your head, and either way I'm one step closer to a free six pack and a twelve step program. :D

You're not kidding, I went from a CJ5, then a Suzuki until I came to my senses and got the D-Cab at nearly twice the overall length. Your mirrors become your best friends! But, it's much more comfortable hitting fire roads at 45. Last time I went to the Outer Banks was with some ****ers. They were uncomfortable at 20, I was smooth at 50 through rutted out sand. A longer wheelbase is a gift and curse at the same time.
Enjoy,
Kyle
