I'm going to leave it running as is for the next 2 months, then pull the plug completely.

You should at least put a link to the new site on it. The text that's currently there isn't hyperlinked. Oh, and reword it to say something like "TTORA is a bunch of whinny pussies so we're disassociating ourselves with them".

BAHAHAHA! Good plan!

Seriously though, why bother leaving it open? Why not just close it and have it redirect here?

We need to get Mike to do some mod_rewrite, and .htaccess magic.

If you do a redirect, the assumption then is that we are still TTORA. If someone puts in MidAtlanticTTORA.com, they come here, so naturally they think they're in the right place.
Either cut it off completely with no redirect, or post an explaination of our disassociation and a link to the new site.

BTW, has anyone let Shannon and Co. know that we've left?

Unless someone tells him it'll be some time next year before he figures it out on his own because his head is so far up his own ass.(yeah I have a grudge against him for professional reasons)

Honestly this was going to be my approximate response also.

As for redirecting, I see no problem with that, I figure the majority of the time someone finds it that way is when they are looking for a club to wheel with...well we are still giving them that, just under new/better management. There is a thread on our board explaining why we are leaving if people want to know. Personally I am observant enough to realize that I have left the TTORA site I attempted to get to, hopefully everyone else can figure it out too.

If nothing else, we made a club and I/the club paid for the webspace. We chose to disband that club and form a new one, the webspace remains mine/the clubs, so we may as well use it. I would rather have someone find us and join then wonder why there is no NE chapter, then attempt to start it again. :)
