I'm always on the lookout for the ever elusive sub $500 2nd gen extra cab. Something I can flatbed and smash up. I can't help to love the idea of side storage and making full use of the bed. Here are some nice projects from Pirate.

Those are cool. I'll be building the flatbed for my sub-$500 2nd gen Xtracab over the next week or so :P It won't have the toolboxes built in because it still needs to be fairly useful for hauling stuff but I have some cool ideas I'm going to try and incorporate.

you looking for a x-cab to flatbed?? if so i might know where one is with a good frame, needs timing chain, and lord knows what else. i will find out what the guy wants for it and get some pics if he wants to sell it
