Post what you got as far as driveshaft companies are concerned.

Standard Parts Corp, in Richmond, can build a driveshaft to your specs. They made shafts for my son's ****, and for an antique fire truck that we care for.

Be sure they understand you will be using the shaft in a non-standard application. For us, they recommended and supplied heavier u-joints and yokes.

I had Standard rebuild the shaft in our old Suburban. They did well. It was a little pricey but I think the quality of work was worth it.

I've had a bunch of DS's built by local places in Baltimore.
The one I got from High Angle blows them all away, quality, price and service.
