I think freshly made cookies should be a requirement for whenever someone comes to help you on your truck. :D

Yea, ARB told him that we could reuse the stock bushings out of his old leafs, but they didnt fit. So they had to go on a bushing hunt and were able to piece something together at Advance Auto. Then we were putting Tundra coils on his truck and our cheap-o spring compressor couldnt compress the Tundra coils enough to use the Tacoma struts, so we ended up just using the Tundra struts but still had to swap the Tacoma top plates over so we could bolt them into his truck. Mind you this was all around 10 pm and it was a bit cold. But we got it all figured out and even got Donnies valve adjustment done during one of the down times on Jasons truck. Oh and my truck isnt done b/c Marlin is ghey and doesnt put all of the usual parts in his Knuckle Rebuild Kits.

Y'all kicked ass then, it was more than chilly at 3PM or so when I was there.
How'd you finally make out on your truck? and where's some pics of the Taco, with those reverse arched rear leafs there had to be a major difference with the OME's on.

Thanks, I wanted to put some more break-in miles on the new gear set
OK, direct off The Family Guy on TV right now, "Did you ever sit on your hand till it fell asleep then play with yourself cause it felt like somone else?"
I'm back, ended up putting around 80 miles on the truck, 23 mi to your house one way, then driving around Ellicott City on the way home.

My truck is on jackstands still, which i knew was gonna happen b/c my wheel spacers and hub stud havent shipped yet. I need that felt wiper metal ring thingy, I wasnt aware Marlin didnt include them in thier kits like Trail-Queer and All-Pro do, and I threw out the old one before I realized I needed it, and my dad took all the trash to the dump before I could get it back out of the trashcan. I think its supposed to rain tomarrow so if I dont go to work I think im gonna pull the IFS rear into the garage and put the brakes on and pull the 3rd so I can swap the 5.29s out of the 85 3rd into it. Im hoping it will be back on its own wheels next weekend, and then its time to mess with the Weber.
The Tacoma looks great, the leafs are basically flat now, no negative arch. We didnt finish up till around 11 so no pics, it was to dark.

Your right, Dave got the Marlin kit and he did the same thing, lucky for him no-one emptied the trash, he dug out and re-used the originals.
I got both of my rebuild kits from OTT and they included those.
I think I might have a couple of those somewhere.

That was in the movie Gone in 60seconds as well.
"I got this new one called the stranger. Basicly I sit on my hand till it goes completely numb, Then I rub one out..."
Family guy is tweeked. The guy that writes that did WAY to much acid.

How level is it? Do you think you'll need to add a shackle for a little more lift? If so wait until you do that before ordering shocks.

Wow, that is a big difference. No more inverted rear leafs.

i'm gonna give it a week or so to completely settle, and i'll order the shackles and shocks.
but right now it's pretty level
