I put a Trail gear clutch in my Tacoma back in September.

Under high load, the clutch slips. Today with the help of a Eric N, I dropped the transmission to check it out.
It looks like the clutch was running on something.

According to the FSM, the clutch was installed in the proper direction. Looking at the old cluch, it could only be installed in on direction. This clutch can be installed in both directions.

I think it's a 2.7 clutch, not a V6 clutch.
