powder coat

I'm thinking of powder coating my factory 2000 4runner rims. Has anyone heard of this weakening them from having to bake them at 400 degrees?

I dont think it will weaken it, but I really dont know. I had my Mickey Thompson Classic II's sandblasted and powdercoated 3 years ago and have never had a problem.

are they steel, or aluminum? The only thing that might worry me is the aluminum might warp. But even thats a worst case.

The Toyota alloys are very resilient.. I say go for it. I've never heard of anyone having any problems PCing them and have seen a few sets done.
