So I'm into the driver side valve cover to swap out four new glow plugs and see if the 'under the v/c' wire harness came unpluged, and I decided to do a little tidying up. The hot side intercooler pipe comes with a sound deadening wrap to tone down the audible turbo spool up. Why the hell would you want to quiet that down :D? It took a while to strip it off, actually had to use a wire wheel but the turbo is twice as loud now. The big-ass air filter doesn't hurt either. Oh yeah, the upper hot side boot had an inch long slit in it so it wasn't building boost. Going to order all six boots here shortly.
Here's the harness unplugged a tiny bit, it may of kept the gp's from lighting, we'll see.
