Just a heads up, I got my stolen today while at the Arundel Mils mallin Hanover, within an hour. they sawed it off.
How easy is this to fix, or am I better off getting it fixed through someone who knows what they are doing, and how much would it cost?

you need to go to an exhaust shop around here, and the new cat is not cheep. I think the magnaflow cats are like 140ish? I wouldn't go to the dealer..

We got an aftermarket on from Advance for our 03 Tacoma when the cat got stolen. its throwing a CEL and we need to get it through emissions. They took out so much of the exhuast it looks like we will be going to the dealer to get the whole pipe with cat. Kind of sucks but Id rather have it back to stock then being all hacked up.

That's just unbelievable. :wtf: To bad you didn't catch the scum bags that did that. I'd like to smash their fingers with a mallott.

well insurance is paying for the whole thing. My sensor is still there so, I wont be paying too much. just the decudictble. Also any good skid plates out there for the toyota? I think i might just invest in one because since this has happened other people that I know got their stolen too? I figure a skid plate would be a big detterent.

The problem with skid plades or those cheesey locks is the thieves will just cut where they can and take more exhaust with them.
This seems to work for me, I do need to darken it up a bit. :D

I bought a Runner with a "missing" converter......I was lucky and I have a complete spare Runner sitting in my driveway. I removed the entire system out of the one runner and installed it in the new one.....
They did such a crappy job hacking out the converter that there wasn't a straight piece of pipe to weld a "test" pipe in it's place......
To do it yourself with Autozone/Advance Auto parts, you are looking at at least $400. Head pipe was @$150, converter @$180, then exhaust pipe to muffler, muffler and tail pipe.......
That is when I decided to take the exhaust out of runner #1 for runner #2.
