Check Craigslist daily. I check DC, Baltimore, Delaware, Richmond, and Harrisonburg. That's your best bet. Just type trailer and be patient sifting through all the boat trailers. Sometimes they won't list it as 'car trailer' or 'car hauler' so 'trailer' works best.

New 16-18 foot trailers are going to be over $2,000 so be ready if you're looking for a new one. Also check all the local off road boards. Good luck!

I paid $2200 for a 16ft. steel deck at hilltop in Warrenton. I know people get some nice trailers from Eastern trailer sales in Boonsboro,MD. But check creepers and pirate. There stuff on there all the time.

be sure to get Maine Tags after you buy it. MD rapes you on tags and registration. Maine is $90 for 5 years.
