Just got home from the hospital after finding out I can't fly after all.

I went flying over the handle bars of my bicycle after braking to avoid getting hit by a car.

Nothing broken, just lots of abrasions, contusions, extrusions, sprains, road rash. I think my head left a dent in the road. Helmets are over rated.

The fact that I am typing tells me the drugs are finally kicking in. :D

They said the real pain will kick in tommorow. :eek:

Glad you're ok, well you never really were ok :flipoff:. Did the car stop after you went down? You will be sore, get better!

Thanks everybody. DOn't have any pics. The bike is OK, I absorbed all the damage.

If it makes you feel better, I stabbed myself in the hand with a hole punch the other day. Right between my thumb and index finger!

Been there, done that, in 10th grade. My face hit first, then my hands. Knocked out a tooth, and now my top, front three teeth are porcelain.

Glad to hear you're alright.
