I love toyota
My budget hates toyota

I love my 2005, i hate what parts for it cost

So i started looking at some old 4X4's
WTF i mean i know toyota trucks hold their resale value, but really i didn't realize people were getting so much for 80's trucks

So i think the future of off roading for me is a little more work on my '05
and hold out to buy a old solid axle front end truck and just tear it apart!!

Yea I wish I did that before I modded my Taco. Now I have a truck that I couldn't get rid of if I wanted to.

Yeah soon enough I will mod up my 2000 taco and never get rid of it....Also I plan to Rebuild my 88 22R Pick 2wd...Not sure what im going to do to it... I was thinking sand buggie lock the rear and put some big paddle tires on the rear! haha what do you all think.

Sand buggy would be sweet but you live in MD...... unless you like taking road trips sand is easy to come by lol

Yea, these 05's are damn expensive, expecially of your still paying for it. Im so happy mines almost payed off. I wanted to get an 84-85 truck too, but im trying to move out, and pay for my 05, and ive got the g/fs 84 4Runner at my house, thats enough of a project for me.

yeah all japanese auto's are expensive, but when you can buy a car/truck and realistically expect 200k+ miles outta it, i guess its just somethin you gotta deal with. TBH i wouldnt have it any other way, there is nothin worse then having an unreliable vehicle.

think about it this way, why do think the **** guys are cool with their shit breakin all the time? cause chrysler parts are cheaper and since ****s are good for 150k if yer lucky, parts are plentiful cause by the time a **** gets that old, it isnt worth shit and folks just junk em.
