A few of us were talking about starting a team for next year. I forgot all about it and a co-worker came in saying her boyfriend blew his motor in the race this past weekend. Anyway, she told me all about it and got me excited about it all over again.
Anyway, I'm in. Aside from picking out a $500 car, a proper cage needs to be installed as well as driver safety gear (fire suits, helmets).
Knowing Toyotas and having had other brands, I think a car with a 22RE drivetrain would surely make the 24 hours without any prior improvements.
My first choices would be a 2WD truck or an older Celica. Either would be awesome. A truck would allow for a crazier theme.
