JD and I and maybe a couple peeps from va4x4.com are probably going to Rausch on 11/12. Anybody wanna go?

I'll probably leave straight from work (in Sterling) that Friday (4:00) and head up there.
I think JD is heading up sometime Friday. He's around Richmond I think.
Not sure if I'll camp Friday night (probably pretty cold) or get a motel, and I plan to head back home Saturday after we're done for the day.

Not yet, but I'm gonna mess with it this weekend. I need to make sure the fuel pressure regulator is working properly.

Sunday is a possibility for me, could leave after work sat. get there sat. night and wheel sunday and get home sunday night. long weekend but could maybe make it work. Anyone else? Because actually I dont think the weekend after thanksgiving will work due to family being in town.

Probably. Might depend on whether I end up with a passenger or not. Sometimes I'll just go up in the morning, go wheeling, and come home that night. Makes for a long day, but from where I live it's doable.

What kind of trails do y'all want to do? I'd prefer to run mostly blacks. Here's a route that I suggest, that everyone's rig is capable of:
Start off on the East Propert with CV Trail and/or Walk in the Park, then run Trail "O".
Then move to the South Property and run Cemetary, Boot Hill, and Tomb Stone. Then run Trail 22 and see what time it is and see what everyone wants to do next.
Obviously we don't have to run stick to that plan, but I think it's a bunch of good trails.

I think I'm gonna bail on this trip. At least bail on driving; maybe I'll ride bitch if somebody has an empty seat. I can't figure out my fuel leak and I'm done fuckin' around with it for this week. I'm not gonna get to it before next weekend.

8-8:30 we usually meet. I usually get there a bit closer to 8:30 but I just unstrap and am ready to go. Plan to be on the trails by 9 at the latest.
My truck is officially out from under the tree! It would appear that part of the tree originally fell during that Nor Easter we had a few weeks back, then, two very large pieces of it fell about a week later.
My father and I ended up cleaning it all up and taking it up to the borough hall where they have a temp dump site set up for all the debris from the storm. Ended up filling an 8' land scaping trailer and the bed of my Tacoma.
I need to do an oil change, repair a broken valve stem and tighten my PS belt and my junk is ready for another beating. I'll have an open seat as well.
Edit: Forgot to mention I have to do a once over on my trailer to make sure there is no damage. I don't think so as most of it landed on the flat bed which held up great!

I haven't run O in a while, but last time I did it had gotten a little boring, so we can skip it. (But there is an option to do a hard climb out of it, right? I've never done that.) Anyway, we can do whatever people wanna do.

Theres is 2 climbs out of O-trail now.
The hard one on the right which recently got harder since a large rock got moved.

Theres a left line which anyone on 35's and locked should be able to do. I've seen Red do it twice with his carb'ed truck.

Started throwing code 31 again and sputtering randomly after we were all packed and just about to louisa this afternoon. Just now getting back after limping it home and guess tonight will be trying to get this shit fixed. Beyond pissed but its not fixed and it is not fun cruising 65 with cars behind you and your truck decides to sputter and slow :argue:

That sucks, maybe next time man! Thought I was going to have to bail last minute too. Couldn't find my keys for EITHER truck. Then I decided on a whim to check each of them. Sure enough both keys were in the ignition on both trucks...good thing I didn't go to sleep like that. Could have woken up with both trucks stolen! :thump:
