I'm tentative right now. It depends on how much my anniversary costs me this year.

Did Eugene get to donkey punch you or did you have to teabag him?

I'm in. Since KGB provides the guides for those events you gonna lead my 4-5 level trail group? I don't wanna get stuck with another loud mouthed douche as a trail guide.
If we get a similar turn out for this as the "Dirty 30" it should be pretty sweet.

I am trying to make it. Waiting on my 1410 slip and yolk for the rear of my truck and a little more welding to do (Armored). Ted is the invite still open for the spare room for the wife and kids? What is the cost for the weekend?

$65 per truck plus $25 camping. Not sure if camping is per person. It normally is.

Kieth and i are going to try and make it down soon. He needs his tires and i was going to come down and see everyone. Plus help Rice Cripy Boy weld.

Jason, you wouldn't happen to know what the trails are for this year. I couldn't find a list anywhere on their site. Any changes from previous years? ???
Also who plans on campin friday night?

Being that Im stock what kind of trails are these going to be?

The trails that would be easiest for stock rigs are labeled 1-5 (or so). While they're somewhat easier trails, they are very tight **** trails (from what I hear). If you have an Xtra cab I would avoid them.

I ran the 6-8 trails last year, and they were pretty tight, but apparently not as tight as the lower trails. With some good driving you could probably take a stocker (with a locker) on the 5, 6, 7 trails. As always, there's potential for body damage.

I should have my rig put together and tested just in time to make it. I haven't registered yet though, just in case.

Me neither. My junk is still on jack stands in the garage, and my kitchen remodel is gonna keep me from getting the rig finished.

I was thinking one of the smaller areas. But then the campground owners may decide for us.

Big Dogs was definitely good stuff! Wish we had more TTORA guys though. 147 vehicles and prolly about 5 guys from here. I'm definitely going to the three day event there in June. I'll have the 4.88's in by then and a new set of skins - most likely 35's
Paul: I have no clue how you squeezed that long, wide bastard through those trails.
Larry: Fuel Injection bro.
Perv: get that buggy runnin right. It sounds like it's gonna blow.

Any of you guys going to Crozet this weekend? I'm just going for the day. Haven't decide which day yet. Depends on who's going and which day they'll be up there I reckon.

I was there, saw Big Perv, Ace (been a long time dude!), and met Larry.
Signed up for 9 but didn't know anyone there so Jason talked me into going with him, but I joined the Creepers group at the last minute (sorry Jason, didn't have time to tell you of the change, happened quick).

Started out on one of those narrrow twisty **** trails and the carnage began. Shit was breaking for no reason on wimpy trails 8O . Someone let a full size Chevy p/u in  , big mistake. He got stuck on a tree, then his tranny blew out on a rocky hill. Drifted back into the woods while we went around. Then he realizes the t-case popped into neurtal and he's at it again. Then gets a fuel leak trying to climb the same spot. We push it back down into the same spot and . He gets under it to fix the leak while more people go around him. Suddenly a big noise and a scream, and the truck suddenly drifts back a couple of feet. Everyone freaks cause he's still under it. The guy has a golden horseshoe up his ass cause he crawls out with only minor cuts and scrapes. We tell him if he trys to move it we'll burn it.

Moments later I realize one of my rear Chevy springs is broken, nothing happened, probably metal fatigue that's been waiting to happen. As I'm tryiing to make it out I'm over on 2 wheels twice (on the broken side) but didn't flop (golden horsehoe up my ass ?). I'm out for the weekend.

I talked to a girl at work today who was there with her husband. Sounds like you were in their group. She said that a 4Runner and a full size Chevy broke down, as well as several Heeps.

I broke a leaf spring at Icebreaker last year, on somewhat easy trails. There's something weird about that place.

I've wanted to say that a few times on the trail.

I was in the garage working on the Scout and thinking about how great the weather was for wheeling.

I can't believe Perv hasn't piped up about how great it was and how I pussed out.

Probably, a lot of other trucks in our group broke down. An old CJ broke a center pin on a leaf pack. A TJ had a brake line leak then broke a u-joint. Lots of other stuff I can't remember it all. A lot of BS stuff on a lame ass trail I've done several ties before. I wasn't broke down, just decided to pull out before the spring pack broke entirely and they'd have to drag me off the trail. I still had to drive it back home, and it was very noticeable at speed on the highway. Maybe the other 4Runner in the group broke down later.

No real damage on mine just some minor issues. stuck float and starter, small dent in the rear, bent crome wheel well strips and a fried relay on the electric cooling fan.
Ace fuel injection buy it for me!
armored buggy ran like shit

My rig was running like shit. Was loading up with fuel and back firing all day. I think i need to work on a few thing before next trip.

We had one 4-runner with IFS Break a cv at the diff. One bronco twisted and snaped a driveshaft and James in the yellow bronco couldn't get his to start. We still don't know why. But i still had a good time.

Yeah it was nice seeing some of the ttora guys out there. Ace was showing all the IFS rigs that the trails could be done and still look pimp doing it. I want to thank Larry for clearing most of the trails out for me. All I had to do was follow your line. I now have the same dent in the rear. Maybe next I'll have time to see Jason run some trails in the buggy. All in all it was a fun weekend. Short, but fun.
