Hey,
Looking to lift my truck a little more in order to fit 285/75r16, so do you think a 3" cornfed kit will do it?If not what do I have to get. Oh yea I just re jointed the site, been a while sense I was last on, looks good.

Welcome! Do you have the TRD package? 4cyl or V6?

No TRD package. The 01 does have a 2" cornfed lift with stock 265s.Looking at 285/75R16 Firestone destination M/Ts, I 'm getting a heck of a deal on a new set.

A bunchof freind will be going to GWNF on June23-26 for camping and 4X4ing, if any one want to come. Sure would like to see some Toyotas along, they all have Heeps and I love chasing them with my stock Taco.Heres a few picture of me a Pagagon and Ruasch Creek.

Welcome (back) to the board. I don't know a thing about Tacos and their lift sizes and tire sizes, but I'm sure others will help out.

I kinda retired my taco from the trails. The buggy is not allowed in GWNF. Plus there is nothing to wheel it on there.

I would look into a body lift to clear those tires. Those are about a 33 right?

Yea, 285/75R16 are 33x11.50 I hopeing to ot have to use the body lift but if thats what it takes. So do you think the 2" cornfed and a 1" body will work or should I use the 3" suspension lift and a 1" body?

With out rubbing you usally need 2-3 inch suspension and 3 inch body. Thats what i got for my 33's.

go balls to the wall, do 3" suspension and 3" body, get 35x12.5's....I had that setup on my Taco and it worked great, only a lil friendly rubbing on the frame @ full lock

Did you wheel it? Because most people running 35 have 8-9 inches of lift.
