The Keystone Krawlers is a great 4x4 club in PA that is putting on an awesome event at R.C. on June 10 & 11. I think I might bail on the trip that Kyle is planning on the following weekend, and check this out instead. Here's the info I stole from their site:

With all that has been happening in our world since 9/11, the spirit of giving has grown tremendously. One of the most obvious ways that we show this spirit of giving is by helping others rather then ourselves.

This year, the Keystone Krawlers Off-Road Club, with your help, will hold our first annual Make-A-Wish in the Woods Benefit Ride, at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in Joliett, PA 17981.

This event kicks off on Saturday, June 10, 2006 and continues through Sunday, June 11, 2006. We would like you to be an integral part of this incredible event! It is only with your attendance that this event can be successful. We need your attendance to make this the most memorable experience for the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATON ® of SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY and everyone in attendance

Our goal is to raise as much money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as possible. The event is for ALL makes & models of 4x4 vehicles of any size, with drivers of all experience levels. Even if you've never been off-road before - there will be a group for you as well. Experienced trail guides will lead each group - from Mild to Wild.

Please visit the event website for all the details! www.keystonekrawlers.com/MAW

Think it was a Creepers trip a couple of years ago when Lynn told us.
A Hummer distributor rented the park to woo would be buyers and dealers. A catered extravaganza. The Hummers started breakin shit on the bunny trails to the real trails. They packed up real quick.

Know the feeling. Where you there when Brad let Eric try to drive his Ranger (Tuna Can) thru the opening in Crawler Ridge ? If anyone's going to beat the shit out of my truck, might as well be me.

OK, now on the news some guy got a DUI for driving his lawn tractor on the sidewalk.

30 days out and counting down!

We have had an overwhelming amount of caring folks who can't attend the run make donations. It's so great to see folks want to get involved with making a difference in the lives of children. I encourage everyone who CAN attend to come out and enjoy everything that we have planned for you! If you can not attend, please consider making ANY donation (even a $1.00 goes a LONG way when you add it in to the total amount) to paypal@keystonekrawlers.com and be sure to add MAKE-A-WISH Benefit in the notes!

Again - thank you to everyone for helping to make a difference.

I don't know man. I've had a couple inspections up in Northern Va. lately and the congestion on Fridays seems to start around 1:30. We can go that way if you really want to, but I can't guarantee I won't put a bumper or rail into a ricer. hehe
I would much rather take a slightly longer route and sail smoothly than sit in No. Va traffic. I just don't think we can get lucky going past Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Bethesda and Rockville. Up to you guys. Billy is our last stop before we leave and his house is already N.W. from mine.

Have fun guys. I tried to get my rig working for this trip, but it wasn't ment to be. I rebuilted the front of a used motor I had Sunday. I swaped it in yesterday after work and tried to get it running tonight. No luck. Wouldn't fire, changed dist, and carb before I could get it to backfire. Then the motor locked up. :-(.
I guess I'll start saving up for a new motor.

Plus they are doin more stuff around there at the interchanges and overpasses. I would avoid the beltway if at all possible this weekend.

good trails. Everyone in my group kicked ass and we had a great time. Unfortunately, the "vibe" as a whole wasn't so great unless you had a ****. I've never been to a run where I've been shown blatant disrespect from **** wheelers. As far as I'm concerned, we're all out there for the same reason: enjoying a hobby we all love and giving to a great cause when we can. From here on out I'll donate to the trailrides with a cause but only attend "Toyota only" functions.
