You don't need those. Just weld up both diffs, and to make up for tall gearing just get really small tires, like 27" or something. You'll be all set.

(off-topic) Turner, are you gonna coordinate with the pennsylvania folks about this run or is it strickly a VA-MD thing? Just curious.
P.S....Ok, I see lots of black and red trail folks signed up. Where's the people who are gonna run blues? I can't rule the bunny trails by myself

You have 31"s and a locker right? You'll be fine. Our last trip there we ran in one group with everything from John and Sean's buggies to a couple of almost stock 2nd and 3rd gen 4Runners. Most of Rausch Creek's blue and black trails have bypasses around the hardest stuff.

Though I hate to be the first to bail on this, I'm out. The on call schedule has been posted and I've been put on call that weekend, and no one in my department is willing and/or able to borrow my beeper. THIS SUCKS!
Great, instead of wheeling, I get, "Duhh, I forgot my password..." OR "The system's down!" "Really? what did it say when you logged in?" "I don't know, I forgot my password."
I really hate users.

Hey turner, should be no problem on the banner. 3' x5' should be cool. I'll even bring some cord so we can hang it from the trees...
I'll keep an eye on whos attending to get a count on how many stickies to have made.
Just praying for no rain. Lat year at GW blew with packin up wet at the meadow. But, wheeling in the mud can be real fun too. Just gotta remember to roll up the windows and close the sun roof. Still have crap from EC4RJ05 on my headliner. Oh well ...

Actually, she's really gonna be out of town that weekend so bummer on that dude. But I look on the bright side of things, I don't have to put up the Taj-Ma-Tent we brought to EC4RJ. That thing was a monster!! Oh, well. The sacrifices we must make!! Definitely looking forward to blowing out another new tire ... NOT !! I'm ready for it this time. Everyone's welcome to come, even stockers. Most of the trails have bypasses around the hard obstacles, and it sounds like we'll have enough stockers for them to form their own group.

Have you TRIED to tow it with your Tacoma? It might not be the ideal tow rig but Frank towed his full bodied 4Runner to Tellico with his Tacoma and lived to tell about it.
Or show up in your Tacomaand wheel some milder trails.

Or just wheel your Taco. If I don't get my clutch taken care of I'm gonna just wheel my **** on some easy trails. Maybe we'll end up with a group set up for retro wheeling, running the easier trails, with open diff's and small tires.

If you find a pair I'll split them with you. I need a passenger's side, and it looks like you need a driver's side.

Well it sounds like I broke a pinion or ring gear tooth. Driving around with the windows down I can hear a clanking as I drive around. I drained the oil and found a few small slivers but no major pieces of metal. I am going to remove the third to see if I can see anything Monday after work.

Hey, I didn't get any stickers :smt022.
Although I didn't get to run with you guys, it was good hanging out a bit up on top of the hill. We had a great run on Saturday and most of Sunday even though all the "built" rigs (Heeps) broke. I'll get some pictures up when I can get some.

I knew that was you. Thursday night sucked big time. Me an my son ended up sleeping in the truck.
I talked to some guys on Sunday morning that were driving Toys. One took some pics of my exo and asked questions about attaching the truck tailgate to the 4Runner body.

Well I took 4 teeth of the ring gear and 1 off the pinion. I was surprised that I was able to drive around with no problems.

Mike Jamison set them up and I am not sure what went bad. It looks like the gears will be under warranty so I am going to set-up the gears next. I do not even know when it happened but all I know is that I was able to drive home and they slowly got louder so I noticed the noise while driving sunday.

Was wondering here they went  I got one banner and somehow got a bunch of 4X4wire windshield stickers wrapped up inside. The other banner is on its way to Turner since his junk was on it
Broderick, I PM'ed you.
Eric that is how I ended up with my big 4x4wire sticker on the back of my F250. It was rolled up in a banner at one of the Jamborees.
I think I have a bunch of the 2005 4Runner Jamboree stickers in my garage somewhere.
