I just got my electric autometer gauges for my 2001 S/C 3.4, I am trying to figure out where to pick up signal for the oil pressure and water temp, it came with the sending untis of course and I also got the metric adapter kit from autometer but where do they go

I have never dealt with the 3.4 but check for unused ports near the Thermostat housing. If one is plugged with no wires coming out of it, unscrew the cap and see if there is coolant there. If so, use that for the water temp. On a 22R the oil temp sender is on the passengerside of the enigine block near the oil filter. It might be the same on the 3.4. If so, unscrew it and screw the new oil pressure sender in its place.

gadgets site gives good info on the oil pressure but none on water temp, except that he slice a heater hose and did it that way, is there not a plug somewhere on a 3.4 that can be removed to put the sending unit there???

gauges are in and work good, no spot on a 3.4 to mount a temp sensor, but the oil pressure was very easy, unused plug by factory oil pressure unit, right where gadget said it would be. Used www.gaugepods.com, aka lotek inc. mounting pods and it looks damn good but slightly RICEY. Oh well, will post pics tommorow.
