Dogs are welcome as long as they can handle a pretty big, loud crowd. Also, there may be others with dogs, so as long as they can handle that too you'll be fine.

I've taken my Steve Dog on most every run I've been on.
If your dogs are well behaved and can deal with other dogs and a lot of loud folks without issue they are welcome IMO.
If anyone on the run is not comfortable with dogs though, you need to be able to contain them.
I say make your best guess; at worst they stay in the truck.

Ace is bringing his dog. For some apparent reason the dog won't "poop" in the grass. He prefers gravel or dirt. All I can say is watch your step. The trails are definate targets.

ACE, MAKE SURE YOU BRING A SHOVEL!!!!!
