hey guys, i just installed my daystar 2.5" front lift....I like the in the coil spacer as it works well, but the other top plate spacer that it comes with looks like it trying to murder my ball joints...Im here to ask if anyone would be willing to help me uninstall the top mount spacer? I have access to a spring compressor but not to any other tools...im at school at radford, va right now which is about 10 minutes north of blacksburg. Seeing if i could get some help here before i might have to take it to a shop as i would like this done before i go home for thanksgiving as i will need an alignment done also before i leave! thanks

I'm not sure the extra 1/2" is going to make that much difference.
To get all that you can from your lift, I'd really suggest replacement upper A arms with uniball joints.
Not cheap at @450(and a bitch to install,) but will ensure full suspension travel.
I strongly suggest getting some new uniball uppers over anything else even if that means keeping it on the street until you can afford the new A arms.
Just a suggestion. I'm in Hampton Roads and if you can get the truck here, I'll help you with whatever you want to do.

1/2 inch??? daystar uses the 1.25 preload spacer, and then a 1.25 top mount spacer for 2.5. By looking at them the top mount is definitely the longer of the two.

Ahh, the one's I've seen like that for Tacos use a 1/2 over-the-strut spacer and a larger one in the strut.
