Default Fall Colors 2009 Oct. 9-11

This years Mid-Atlantic Toyota Crawlers Fall Colors Run will be held October 9th through the 11th at George washington National Forest outside of Harrisonburg, Va.
We decided to hold it a little earlier this year in hopes to avoid the rain. The leaves may not be at their peak color but, A.) We've all seen red leaves before and B.) it won't be as cold and rainy.
The trails are on the easier side yet still give a good time for most. There can still be carnage for those who seek it. Most stock 4WD vehicles will have no problem with the trail system there. That said, this run is open to all 4WD vehicles, not just Toyotas.
Like years past, this has been more of a meet and greet weekend packed full of wheelin', camping, and hanging out with friends, old and new.

This year instead of the lower meadow we're going to change it up and set up camp at the top of Flagpole in the large meadow. There's alot more room for us and some people don't like the lower meadow.

More than likely someone will be there Thursday night so feel free to come early.

Same sole rule this year.
1. NO DRINKING ON THE TRAIL. If you can't have fun in your truck without alcohol, please stay home. There will be plenty of time back at camp. We really don't need anyone bringing negative press to our sport and more importantly getting hurt or hurting someone else. So please, keep the alcohol at camp.

So who's in?

1. Me
2. Beater
3. Donnie
4. Hoodlum
5. mtnyota
6. jrohland
7. Cannon
8. dsasteel
9. Katz & Hunter
10. Boheefus
12. Sleepycannon
13. 99SR5
14. Goldenlair
14. Corax
15. Breaker
16. Backwoodsboy

Default I'll try

If I can get Mr Tee operational by then and the missus is willing, I'll make it on Sunday (October 11) only.

I'll pack in my electric heli and do some flying if the upper meadow is big enough or I can find enough open space.

Yeah I know.If it comes down to it I'll drive my 4runner. I'm hoping that I have the Tacoma just about finished up.

For people who do not know the exact location of the camp site that you are referring to, could you post directions? Last time I meet up with a group of people in the Flag Pole Knob area to camp, there was some confusion as to where the group was camping.

Also, I'll let my dad and bro know.

Thanks

Chris
