Default Commuter BLING

I'll be the first Bling Bling poster. Here's my commuter I picked up a couple months ago. Having to commute to DC everyday, I needed some serious mpg. Well the best so far is 41 mpg, with the A/C on .
NO FART CANS or MISS BUDWEISER HYDROPLANE WING. Just mild tint and maybe some TRD springs so people don't confuse it for a Highlander. These wheelwell gaps are huge!

You get 41 mpg with a corolla?

Damn...

I need to pick up a DD beater. Something small that is easy to parallel park in the city when I want to go drinking. Was looking at an Acura RSX, but may have to reconsider.

It's a stick and that's freeway driving. That's the best so far, sometimes it's a little less. If I hammer it the mileage suffers some but it's quicker than the truck and worth a few miles per gallon. 130hp, not too shabby. You're so right Turner. Everytime I drive it I love it more and more. It's so much more 'streetable' than the truck. Easy to park and just zip around. Thanks guys.

i drive my taco to dc almost every day (i take the riv in every so often)
actually i bought the taco so i could drive in dc.

be careful with that thing on those dc roads, it only took a few years for them to fuck up my riv real bad, thats why i went out and bought the truck, it just flies over anything in dc. literally. the other day i was flying under the dupont circle and hit a bump and the whole rear end lifted off the ground. guy behind me looked freaked.

another time in chevy chase circle, some dumb broad merged into my back tire with a ford focus and i went over her hood without even scratching the truck.

anyway, that is a nice ass color on that car. enjoy it.

nice ride...

gf has an older camry but it drives much nicer than the heep. love driving that car. plus can't beat the 400 miles to a tank versus mine 200 miles to a tank. and the tanks are the same size.

Nice ride. That's what I'm aiming for, except maybe a few years old. . . as soon as I sell my Heep.

Now it's time to SAS your Runner and get some dents in it.

Getting twice the mileage that I get now will save me at least $125 a month in gas. If you're getting 41 mpg, that almost 2 1/2 times better than my Jeep gets and I'll be saving $180 per month.
